gypsum mafia
Gypsum is mineral found in plenty in our region .it is monopoly of RSMDC & RSSM for mining of this mineral. There is lot of illegal mining of mineral & mushrooming of factories ( app. 100 in number) for making the plaster of paris from gypsum. They all are getting the illegally mined gysup 1.they are looting natural resources of country
2. Doing processing of illegally mined mineral (making theft of sales tax, income tax & so on)
They all are having nexus with authorities who are responsible of preventing illegal mining, running illegal processing units.
Kindly suggest me how to stop all this through RTI
If it is possible kindly draft the RTI.
Kindly note it; they all are criminal minded peoples .managing the police, civil authority & media also
Dear Sir,
RTI Act 2005 is meant to obtain govt. documents . from various government departments.
That is pretty much the scope of this act.
Once we obtain these govt. documents, we can use them to file cases via PIL, publish them in various news media etc. and hope that some action is taken.
Given the above facts, asking such documents have been dangerous for RTI activists. Thats where orgn. like RTI-Anonymous helps in filing RTI’s for people.
Please let us know, what exact kind of documents would you like to ask and from which govt. department.
