Questions:
• I filed an application for a new voter card on ………, approved by SDM of that time. Please tell me the daily progress made on my application so far, that is when did my application reach which officer, for how long did it stay with that officer and what did he/she do during that period?
• It is now more than eight months I applied for my Voter Card. Please give the names and designations of the officials who were supposed to take action on my application and who have not done so?
• What action would be taken against these officials for not doing their work and for causing harassment to the public? By when would that action be taken?
• By when would I get my Voter Card now?
Preferred language in which information is desired is English. I Would like to get the information through speed post.
In case any of the above-asked information is held by or related to another public authority, you are requested to transfer the application or such part of it as may be appropriate to that other public authority with an intimation to the undersigned (Section 6(3) of Right to Information Act, 2005).

I had been issued with voter I card with a defaced photo and that too of my brother against my name, which is of no use as when I used it for issuance of SIM, I was refused. Moreover, my family’s voter I card too have photos which are not at all clear and could not be used as address proof and establishing identity. I want to make a new one by changing mine and my family members. If I be guided as to how to go about it. I was planning to use RTI to know the procedure but I got to know of ur RTI so why to waste time now.

Sub: First Appeal against reply of Public Information Officer (Application Number: 1227/RTI/information/2012 reply has been attached hereby) under Right to Information (RTI) Act
Dear Sir,
Please refer to my RTI Application dated 27/2/2012 and the reply given by the PIO (attached hereby).I request you to direct the Public Information Officer to provide me the complete and correct information requested in my RTI Application.
According the first point in the reply, correction (rechecking) of voter list was not carried out due to which my name was not added to the voter list. Here the PIO has not mentioned the names and designations of officers whose duty it was to carry out the correction. Neither has any time frame been mentioned by the PIO when the correction of the voter list must be done. This complete information has been requested by me in my application.
I had given applications for introducing my name in voter list (form 6) with the approval of Sub Divisional Magistrate, Pathalgaon after which there is no requirement to appear before Booth Label Officer. As I have already given one application for voter card hence I cannot apply for another voter (which will be illegal also) card through booth level officers who come door to door for addition/deletion of names in voter list.
My main request is to provide me with my Voter Id Card as soon as possible and appropriate action be taken against those officers due to whom this delay has occurred. Please direct the Public Information Officer to provide complete and correct answers to my RTI Application.

I filed a RTI for knowing the details of delaying in issue of duplicate voter identity card on 7/05/014 but i do not get untill 10/06/014, then i send reminder on 10/06/014 after that i get reply from public information officer stating that for knowing detail please do further communication with electoral registration officer. Which tell me what are the role of public information officer and procedure for apply to first appellate authority. Please tell me sir/madam
