Mumbai Skywalks
Sir,
Inspite of Strong Objection from all Mumbaikars Goverment of Maharashtra had wasted Crores and Crores of Rupees in developing the unwanted Skywalks in various part of Mumbai.
Proposal of Skywalk was never offered to Residents and Locals of Area where this Nuisance is created and it had above all became a nuisance to entire locality as the agency proposing skywalks do not require any kind of prior permissions for safety of citizen of city.This agency do not follow the DCR Rule requireed by every agency or builder before constructing anything. They do not require NOC from fire brigrade as the Skywalk are built very very close to residential building by keeping a margin of only 1-1.5 metre only, so there if there is any fire incident in area there is no chance of escape due to obstructions created by skywalk.
There is no accountable officer for the damges of road,drainage line and other utility services which are sure shot damaged while construction.
Budget for the Skywalk are Exhorbint high as this peoples are using the fabricated iron material which are used for flyovers, as they say it is used for designing and escaliting the cost.
I had made several RTI but none of the reply were in order to satisfy.Now only you are the hope.
1) Whom you sent earlier RTI’s?
2) Pls show us the earlier draft or draft it roughly as you wish
3) LAST THING : (rather this should be the 1st !) What exactly you want to ask? and where you think is discrepancy?
