- What was the initial budget? How much money was sanctioned and How much money was spent?
- What is the return on investment so far?
- How many farmers were trained? Please provide name, address and phone numbers of the trained farmers?
- How many tons of Oranges processed and exported through this facility till today?
- This facility is not in use for last 5 years, we would like to know why it was not operated through local marketing agencies?
- How many private parties have shown interest in running this facility so far? Please provide name, address and phone numbers of these parties.
- What is the reason it was not leased to the interested private parties?
- What is the current status of the facility and what is the future plan?
**All the above questions are important to find out what’s going on with this facility. It was built spending crores of rupees to help local farmers but is useless because it’s not operational since it’s inaugration by agriculture minister 4 years ago. Few private parties shown interest to lease it from government but Maharashtra State Agriculture Marketing Board (MSAMB) Nagpur regional officials rejected the plans for unknown reasons. The construction of the facility and the procured equipments are of very poor quality and now this faciliy has become the ‘Adda’ for bad elements.
PIO is local Tahsildar but this application must be cc to Chief Minister and Chief Secretary.
There are near abt 30000 peopls in karanja ghadge. Main occupation of there people is farming. 75% of people are not well educated. They are unknown of future plan of govt for there society. Most of the people have orange garden in there Farm. They dont know about export and Orange Export Processing Facility Center, Karanja (Ghadge) Dist. Wardha. Maharashtra. They unknown about benefits of facility . Govt should guide to there people abt this facility.
I know my karanja will definitely do something for there bright future and bright future of farmer and there family. govt should take active part for running the organisation and encourage people for this facility. interested party will take interest and

AS YOU SAID THE CONSTRUCTION OF FACILITY CENTRE IS POOR QUALITY.SIR, WE USED BEST MATERIALAND EQUIPMENTS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF FACILITY CENTRE. AND THERE IS 10 YEARS COMPLETED OF CONSTRUCTION,I NEVER SEEN A CRACK ON WALL OR ANY OTHER PROBLEMS ABOUT CONSTRUCTION OF BUILDING.AND (MSAMB) ENGINEERS AND OFFICERS INSPECTED ALL THE THINGS ABOUT CONSTRUCTION AND THEY REPLIED AS A GOOD QUALITY OF CONSTRCTION OF ORANGE EXPORT FACILITY CENTRE WHICH I BUILDED.
