Bureau of Energy Efficiency – Irregularities in the selection of the Secretary
An RTI Applications filed by our volunteer has exposed possible irregularities in the selection of the secretaries in Government Departments. Several contenders to the post of the Secretary, Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) had applied without vigilance clearance as well as through “improper channels” (as per admission by the Bureau itself).
This indicates that such practices might be common in the Bureau or other Government Departments.
