REQUEST UNDER RTI ACT.
Please provide the following information about the LAWRENCE DE SOUZA ESTATE/TRUSTS.
1. A copy of the will of the Late Lawrence De Souza.
2. A copy of the annual accounts of the Trust/Estate.
3. A list of the Managing Committee Members of the Lawrence De Souza Homes for the poor at no 138, Lenin Sarani appointed by you.
4. A copy of the Rules and Regulations of the Managing Committee of the Homes.
5. Copies of all correspondence with La Martiniere’s School, Calcutta concerning the Lawrence De Souza Scholarships.
6. A list of properties/Estates under the said Estate.
7. Whether the said Estate was possessed of any properties ? Were the properties sold/leased ? Please provide full particulars.

I think you should serve it on the Minority Affairs Ministry, Govt. of WB. also.
I understand the committee members of the Lawrence DeSouza Homes are all men. In a ‘ladies’ Homes isn’t there a need for women to be part of the committee? How come not a single woman is part of the committee? This MUST BE looked into seriously for the safety of the ladies in the Homes.
I hope my concern stated in my message of March 16, 2016 is being looked into seriously. This MUST BE taken care of in the interest of ‘safety for the aged ladies’ in the Lawrence DeSouza Homes.
The Official Trustee who is the sole trustee of this Home, DOES NOT REPLY TO ANY REQUESTS. NEVER.

I am not concerned who replies as action is what I refer to. A ladies Home must be run by ladies and NOT ALL GROUP MEN. This needs “action” not “replies”. Matter to be taken seriously and not treated as Bakwas!
