Subject: Request for Document
Below documents are requested:
1) List of VIP/VVIPs exempted from pre-embarkation security checks at Civil Airports.
The reply that we have received to the above RTI Application is given below:
This is a nicely drafted simple RTI Request .. moving this to the DraftedRTI Category
1. The list is(supposed to be) displayed at all airports. I have seen it at Kolkatta domestic terminal just before the security check counters, for one.
2.Photo of the list is available at this link:

I saw that image being circulated and wanted to verify the authenticity.
Thanks.

In addition to the above,
(i) the spouse of the President of India, even when not accompanying the President and
(ii) former Prime Ministers of India, are exempted from pre-embarkation security checks at all civilian airports in the country.
So Robert Vadra was doing all the smuggling of Black Money and he is getting bonuses for that….LEGALLY….Abuse of Power indeed.
Should this RTI be filed as we know the exact list.
We all respect Kalam sir but filing this RTI will not be useful and fruitfull,
Also this does not require anomousity.
I am Sorry for previous comment,
I have redrafted this RTI :
1.Please provide me the exact documents/file notings which tell the reason for inclusion of Mr. Robert Vadra in the list of persons exempted from pre-embarkation security checks at all civilian airports in the country.
2.Please provide me the provisions under which he has been included in the list of exempted persons.
@Team Members, nishan_n,nightwatch please review the draft prepared by me and post the necessary corrections so that I can file this RTI as early as possible.

We have received reply to this RTI Application. The reply is given below.
I think we should appeal this. It is ridiculous that just being Priyanka’s husband makes Mr Vadra exempt from security checks. By that logic, why is spouses of other SPG protectees not exempt from security checks?
Very right ….How did he get to amass so much wealth…Sonia Maino was just a waitress…and section 24(1) should not have been attracted as it is connected to corruption…
Hi Param Dhar
Good Job!Infact I was also filling an RTI regarding this issue. As a budding law student i do not see any thing in 24(1)of RTI act which prevent the ministry for disclosing the reason.Have u appealed against the reply??

Can someone tell me when did the Home Ministry gave the directions to exempt Mr Vadra from security checks at airports, with exact date?
on ground Mr. Vadra is exempt from security check, why he should be free from check?
i agree with Vikram, he got exemption before marriage or after marriage with priyanka
Why these persons (so called VVIP’s, ministers, judges are exempted???) Is there a valid reason to justify??? Its a matter of Country’s security and also tax should be bear by all…
Can’t they spare few mins for checking???
India is a democracy… I have serious doubts about this!
