Rules and regulations for giving recognition to schools in Andhra Pradesh State.

This is regarding the schools in AP.  I have seen many schools in Visakhapatnam not having any basic facilities like, play ground, library, proper furniture, toilets, water facility etc, but all these schools have Government recognition.  Also, we have right to education act under which the state government received some approximately 200 crores of rupees which the AP government has been allegedly not using.  I want to file an RTI application to reveal these two facts.

1.  What are basic rules to start any school in AP.

2.  What is happening to the funds allotted to AP Gov under Right to Education act.

    Hi,

    Please make the queries more specific. For example, if you want to know how a particular school has got the recognition from the AP govt, we can file an RTI with the district education officer requesting for the details of application by that school and mandatory inspections carried out before recognizing the school.

    Dear Sir,
    Please provide me information under Right to Information Act in relation to schools in Vishakhapatnam district.
    What are the basic rules and regulations to set up a school in Vishakhapatnam.
    1) What is the total expenditure that the Andhra Pradesh Government utilized on school education in Vishakhapatnam in the year 2011(1st January 2011-current date).
    2) Please tell me how the aforesaid money has been utilized for construction of new schools, improvement of facilities, including toilets, libraries, playgrounds and furniture in the school premises.
    3) It is a easily verifiable fact that schools of Vishakhapatnam have a deficit of basic infrastructure like toilets, playgrounds and proper libraries inside the school premises.In this regard, what projects/plans has the Government of Andhra Pradesh taken to provide basic infrastructure including proper toilets for boys and girls, proper playgrounds, proper library and proper furniture inside the school premises.Please tell me by when will the aforesaid facilities be provided to all schools in Vishakhapatnam(especially as the Supreme Court order on 18th October, 2011 directs all states to build proper toilets by 30th November 2011).
