NABH accreditated Hospitals indulging in Medical Malpractices.
1) How much importance is given to Healthcare institution’s policy for acceptable medical ethics before accreditation of NABH is awarded ?
2) Are you aware of the fact that NABH accreditated hospitals are indulging in medical malpractices like issuing payment cheques to referring doctors for referrals, officially and openly flouting the medical norms and Ethics as defined my the Medical council of India ? If yes, what action you take against defaulter hospitals.If no, aren’t you contributing to the deteriorating medical ethical standards amongst hospitals in this country?
3) Have you defined the minimum standards of medical ethics to be followed by accreditated hospitals. If yes, please issue me a copy of the policy and minimum standards of following the norms. If, no, why? Dont you think quality without following medical ethics will have deleterious consequences for the medical practice atmosphere , on the patients and general population in this country?
