KHB site allotment in Malur

Sir,

There was an paper advt in only one paper seeking applications for sites and flats by KHB. However this is not reflecting in their website , nor any body in the office is giving proper reply over phone. Can an RTI be filed to know how many people have applied and why this is not put up on their website? I would like to know what really is happening and why so much of secrecy?

      1. Why this is not reflecting in teh website and the status of the project or the number of applicants etc.
      2. Can We know how many people have applied and what is the status? is there any hush up to allot only to close confidants?

  2. RK - RTI Anonymous Team Member says:

If the advertisement has appeared in the News paper, it would have given all details. What else u want? The KHB website also would provide the same details.

    • V Nayak says:

Yes in the news paper the details were there. The question is why this is not updated on their website? why the information about applicants and the like are not posted? is there any hush up? No body knows when is the lottery for this project, or any other status and they are not willing to give any more info on the same from the office

  3. Helping Hand says:

information provided by u is still incomplete. Pl provide advt. date. copy of advt.

Mr V Nayak’s query is very clear. The RTI helping hand simply avoids the question as if they dont understnad what is KHB and pretending as if the information is incomlete. The http://www.karnatakahousing.com website is not opening and no response in all the five telephone numbers they have advertised. The advt is only an eye wash only to meet legal obligation and not for public convenience. Pl get the website up and running and provide all related information rearding allotment on Housing board sites at malur, Karnataka.

It is a big scam. Strangely, the allotment is on first come first basis. When we go to the site, they say all sites are sold within twodays (19th and 20th Aug). Incidentally, both these days are holidays! How can KHB sell on holidays? How can one get DD on a holiday? It seems the marketing agency RM Infratec is selling at a higher rate than what KHB would otherwise sell. Big infrastructure developed by KHN is allotted to undserving people on whims and fancies of a private agency.
