The above said company doing business in Durgapur Steel Township in last two decades. They basically do cable TV business in in a township which is own by Durgapur Steel Plant of SAIL. They also provide internet service in the name of ‘Meghbela Broadband’. It is found that after implementation of ‘set top box’ they earned a handsome amount of money by selling S T Box. Moreover they are charging now 230/- per month only for free channels and asking extra amount for every pay channel.
Now we would like to know whether all these activities are approved by D S P Authority or they took every decisions individually.
What is the break-up the amount they charged monthly.
How much DSP’s share from their collection in case of every customer and yearly revenue.
After all they are doing business on behalf of DSP / SAIL to employees of SAIL. When SAIL and DSP’s balance sheet is in bad condition why not DSP / SAIL is taking different mode to get more share of revenue when SAIL has own internet network in whole township.
DSP also has own TV network and broadcasting regularly.
By using modern technology DSP can get huge amount of revenue from this service to its employees.
But why SAIL / DSP Authority is sitting ideal for year after year is unknown?
