Dear Registrar,

REQUEST UNDER RTI ACT.

Please provide me with the following information.

1. a Copy of the High Court Order concerning the Clause Martin Legacies/charities which are managed from your office.

2. A List of all the Legacies/Charities of Claude Martin managed from your office.

3. A copy of the statement of Accounts of the Claude Martin legacies/charities managed by you under the High Court orders.

4. Full details of the accounts, including bank account nos. bankers name, list of properties, share certificates.

5. The list of beneficiaries of the Claude Martin Poor Funds for the release of Poor Prisoners.

 

Please provide the requested information as per Rules of the RTI Act as quickly as possible.

    Application need not be in any format specified by the court. RTI Act is having over riding effect on any other laws of this country. The PIO is wrongly returned the application. Secondly, the RTI act is user friendly. The PIO has to right the application himself on behalf of the applicant and get the signature of the information seeker. When this is so, the blank postal order can be filled by the PIO himself and provide the information. It is an intentional act on part of PIO. You will file first appeal against the PIO.Then proceed for filing second appeal.

    fIRST APPEAL IS THE FORMALITY TO BE DONE. SOME APPEALLETTE AUTHORITIES FEEL THE RESOPONSIBILITY AND INFORMATION CAN BE HAD CORRECTLY. OTHER WISE, YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE RETURNED BY THE COMMISSION FOR NOT PREFERRING THE APPEAL. SO, I ADVISE TO PREFER FIRST APPEAL DULY FILLING THE POSTAL ORDER. HOWEVER, YOU HAVE RIGHT TO REPRESENT THE ILLEGALITIES IN THE HIGH COURT INFORMATION ACT IN THE SAID APPEAL.

    I agree with BASA33. We should not let this matter go. It is a very important matter that will reveal alot more, almost like 2G scam. Clause Martin, when he died about 150 yrs ago left almost one crore rupees (british times.) Therefore the Estate should be worth at least one lakh crore rupees. But, it is usually said that the Estate is nearly bankrupt. How and why ? Did the High Court official give themselves loans from the Estate ? The Trust states that money should be given to poor prisoners for their release, and this poor prisoners money is paid to Calcutta Police Commissioner. How many prisoners have got it ? These answer will tell a huge story. I urge RTI Anon to follow up these RTIs which have huge consequences.
