Hi Team,
Has any reply been received on the above RTI?
If not, what would be the next course of action?
Thanks…
It takes a minimum of 30 days legally for them to reply. But we have seen that most times, they have taken more time.
Don’t worry, we are on the top of every post/request thats put here …
We maybe slow in responding sometimes, but we will eventually get to it .. BE ASSURED !!!!
Thank you so much.. appreciate the efforts!!
We have received reply to this RTI Application.
The reply said that no planning permission was issued by CMDA(in computer)for Old No. 145, New No.299, Linghi Chetty Street,Parrys, Chennai-I.Hence the information required is not available in CMDA.
What does ‘in computer’ mean?? Have they given permission manually (outside computer) ?? What should be the next course of action??
Has some other authority issued planning permission??
Can you please upload the reply received. Thanks
Should we infer from the reply that – the building was constructed without planning permission??
It is clear from the reply that no planning permission was given for construction of this building.
From this reply I infer two things.
a)Either this building is unauthorized.
b)Or The said building was built long ago when obtaining planning permission was not mandatory.
As for now the information on planning permission is given here:http://www.cmdachennai.gov.in/planningpermission.html
