you may think why being anonymous is needed, its because there were a lot of malpractices in that election. A union cabinet minister who had said to have lost have been declared won after an hour as per news paper reports (a case is going on in the courts), and the no of voters polled(as of 13th may 2009) is lesser by 2lakhs from the total no of votes polled along with postal votes(16th may 2009). i dont like to reveal myself… can you help me now ? please

    1. Should this RTI not be filed with Tamil Nadu State Election Commission-
    http://tnsec.tn.nic.in/pdf/RTI%20Act.pdf
    2. Information requested is bonafide, why should the RTI be file anonymously?

I defer, this decision to Mr. Nightwatch. He is a veteran RTI Activist and has tremendous experience in this.
I Trust his experience blindly and will follow his advice, for Mr. Shreesmani’s reply below and move this to appropriate category

I agree, that this is not something, which should be filed Anonymously.
    Dear Sir,

To file this RTI Application you need to send postal order worth Rs. 35 (Rs 10 as fees for processing the application and Rs 25 as speed post charges of the reply) along with your RTI Application to the given address.
You can also contact http://www.rtination.com, who specialise in drafting RTI applications for non-anonymous RTI Requests.

RTI Anonymous is an organization, meant to protect and shield RTI Requestors/Activists, who are threatened with physical harm.

    Moving this to Non-Anonymous Category
