Application for Information under Right to Information Act 2005
Subject: Legal Parking areas in Mindspace Area, Malad
I, Kamal Kishore, a citizen of India, request you to kindly provide me the following information under the Right to Information Act, 2005:
1) Please inform me total number of legal parking areas allocated by BMC in Mindspace area, Malad West, North ward, Mumbai-400064.
2) Please provide the details of contractors who have been given charge for handling of these areas for parking.
3) What are the fares defined for these parking areas for different kind of vehicles like 2-wheelers, 4-wheelers etc. as per contract between BMC and Contractors?
4) Please furnish me the copies of the contracts signed between BMC and Contractors for collecting parking fares, having all details like contractor name, parking area name, parking fares etc.
5) Please provide the name, designation, address and telephone number of officials who are responsible to check parking facilities in this area. With what frequency, these officials are supposed to carry out a check on these parking facilities.
6) Please provide me reports formed by these officials during these checks in last one year (1 Nov. 2010-30 Oct. 2011).
7) Is there any reporting/complaint verbal or written of illegal parking fares or illegal parking contractors during this 1 year period in Mindspace area, Malad West, North ward, Mumbai-400064? If yes, please provide me the following info:
a) Date of complaint
b) Daily progress of the complaint received
c) Action taken on the complaint received
d) Date of reply given to the complainant and a copy of the reply
8) How many complaints for above reasons in item 7 have been unanswered till date? What action has been taken in this regard by BMC on concerned officials/contractors? Please provide me status report for all of these complaints.
9) By what time, all these complaints will be addressed? If these are not addressed within specified time limit, what actions will BMC will take on concerned officials?
I am attaching the receipt of the payment of application fees for this RTI Application via Indian Postal Order of Rs. 10/- only and serial no. 92E 421721. I am willing to pay any further charges as decided by the PIO and communicated to me with a reasoned written order, giving detailed calculations for arriving at the additional charges so requested by the PIO.

Hi All,
I had attached IPO of Rs. 10/- with the application, but PIO might not have received it mistakenly. So, I have again resent another IPO of Rs. 10/- as RTI Application fee. Please find the letter sent to PIO.
