Questions
1. What all the technical documents available with Government of India related to strength of mullaperiyar dam?
2. What all the verification tests done by different departments of government of India in last five years? Provide the results.
3. What is the basis of the statement issued by Central Minister Ashwini Kumar on dam safety on 15 – 1- 2012
4. Provide the technical data and the opinions he relied on for making the statement.
5. Who is the government official responsible for the safety of Mullaperiyar Dam.
6. What is the maximum punishment the above officer can get in case of dam breaks and results in disaster.
7. Provide the recorded seepage water level from dam for last 5 years.
Some please comment.. I guess the PIO might reject this application on the grounds saying that the matter is with the court and the information sought cannot be supplied as per the RTI act till a clear verdict is out.
I am not sure whether they will reject it saying matter is in the court. The questions looks like asking for absolute information and not some thing that affect the verdict. I found rest of the questions are valid and absolute except the below one.

From benefit point of view the answers can clear the roomers both political leadership are circulating.

d. Materials used for construction of Dam Section
e. Composition of Core
2) Please inform me of the details of the upstream slope & downstream slope.
3) Please provide with certified copy of recent Dam Break Analysis Report.
4) Please provide the opinions of subject matter experts (SME) about the dam. Designation of the SME, and their respective opinions can be furnished in a tabular or convenient way.
