Please provide me following documents of Get Up 4 Change – (A NGO) and RTI Anonymous :
- Their Registration documents as NGO/Trust/Society (You have mentioned that you spend Rs 1000 on registration in the details of expenditure.)
- As RTIA and GU4C are frequently accepting donations provide a copy of the PAN Card of GU4C
- As RTIA and GU4C are frequently accepting donations from NRI’s and Outside India provide a copy of their registration documents under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, 2010
- Copy of Summry of Income Tax Return filed by them
- As the director of GU4C is an NRI please provide relevent documents which clearly tells that NGO is a foreign NGO or Indian. If it is Foreign NGO (Foreign NGO means any NGO in which any NRI/OCI/Foreign Country Citizen is a trustee/member of the governing board/director) provide documents of registration of GU4C with Ministry of Home Affairs as a Foriegn NGO

RTI-Anonymous is a movement and not an organization/trust or a society. It is based in United States of America. All contribution of RTI Anonymous, which is originated outside India will be deposited directly into the personal bank account of Anand Sharma. (Anand Sharma’s bank is https://www.elevationscu.com/)
Anybody who want to contribute money to RTI-A, within India, in Indian rupees. sends it to Mr. Ritesh Singh as a personal transaction.
The Transaction between Mr. Anand Sharma and Mr. Ritesh Singh, is a transfer of money between an elder brother and a younger brother. As such, this kind of transactions does not fall under the purview of RTI Act 2005 and since these amounts are extremely less than Rs. 100,000 per year, they also do not fall under any Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, 2010
Similarly, any movement (or organization ), based in the USA does not come under the purview of RTI Act 2005 and we are not obliged to show it in public, Tax details or any such things to the government of USA
We, the RTI Anonymous team believe that all our financial transaction should be displayed openly in the public domain. This is done, just because of our strong ethics and principles and not because we are obligated or required to do so. Please check these details at

I was knowing you are not registered any where you just betraying us by writing that you spend rs. 1000 in NGO Registration.
Shameful that you cleverly changed that today from expense details.
Firstly you have no right to make and law as per law :
1.only transiction between close blood relative is exempted from FRCA but not from Income Tax.
2.any organisation registered in foreign country if it works in india for any purpose and accepts donation and spends it in india the ngo must be registered under FCRA, Child NGO with Registrar of Societies and must have a PAN and pay income tax and custom taxes if the donations from foreign are utilised in india
3.the ngo must have a deed and seperate bank account no bank account in personal name must be used.
4.you cannot accept donations in public with proper ngo/trust registration and without a valid pan card
5. if you accept donations you must register yourself and get pan card before starting to accept donations.
And Even if Ritesh is your Blood Brother (not cousin) since you have taken money in the name of donation for ngo you are not exempted from FRCA and as you have taken money in the name of donation for ngo (which is not even registered and nobody knew it) it is the case of गुमराह करना and for which you are culprit and can be booked under Article 420 of IPC

If you have ever gone through RTI Act 2005,
you must know that RTI covers only Government owned bodies, and any NGO/organization substantially funded by the government.
(pdf of RTI Act 2005 is available on government’s official website of RTI. Just google it).
No other NGO/organization is supposed to entertain an RTI application on legal grounds.
However, it is everybody’s moral duty to keep things transparent if he is using public money.
If you find anything fishy, and confident enough of a fraud, being an ideal Indian, please, file an FIR against it.
And, if this is the case, please don’t decide things yourself. Let the court decide on it.
Nobody, who is against corruption or supports RTI, will object it.
One more thing. Whatever you do against RTI Anonymous, please, don’t stop filing RTI applications.

1. We aren’t a registered org. So, there are no registration documents which we can put up on the site.
2. We accepted Indian donations in my personal account which is legal.
3. We accepted foreign currency in a personal account as a personal gift. Now, that has been changed since we have come to know that $2000 is the limit for the same (we had accepted much less than that).

I think Transparency has to be assured at every point of time.
A small mistake, which we made was, ‘mentioning of GUC as an NGO’.
Subsequently, it was also written, that a sum of Rs 1000 was paid for registration.
But since, Ritesh has clarified now that, there is no such Registration of GUC, and its just a movement(like India Against Corruption), I think there’s no doubt left now.
So now, lets get back to work.
Forget this so called ‘Ideal Indian ‘. He/she has already wasted our lot of valuable and precious time.

Yes, Rs. 1000 were lost in the registration process. But it doesn’t mean that we were registered. The CA started demanding more money citing silly reasons and so we eventually decided to stop the registration process halfway.

I have read this entire thread and I have this to say :
1. This man realindian is a lunatic. My advice : before you accept money from anyone be very sure you know who the person is. GIVE HIM BACK HIS MONEY RIGHT NOW. Send him a cheque right now by registered post.
2. His complaint about 420 is all bullshit. 420 will ocme into play only if you started out to deceive him. From what he has written here, he was never deceived. He knew what he was doing. Himself he should have checked out whether you were registered etc. as per his wish. There is no law that you should be registered.
3. All his threats about involving Indian Embassy is all bullshit. They can do nothing to you as the Embassy is not a criminal investigation agency or a prosecution agency. So tell him to do some more RTI and get a sound education first before he threatens people.
4. Just return his money. DO NOT EVER REPLY TO HIM AGAIN. let him go and do whatever he wishes to do. No one can stop a madman. Do not reply here anymore. If he wishes, he may write to you and you will send him a legal reply that your solicitor will advise you to write. Until then ignore all his nuisance writing and do not reply/apologise or feel threatened by these kind of lunatics.

i know you have blocked this thread, but as a general public i am in dilemma that what is the problem with, REGISTERING RTI-A AS AN NGO/ORGANISATION OR WHATEVER??
Dear Sir,
The problem is that registering increases our paperwork to a huge extent. Once registered, we have to have regular board meetings and so on. We also need to have a registered office. Maintaining an office would increase our costs significantly.
We want to use all the available time, energy and money for RTI and not waste it on unnecessary red tape.
That is why we have decided to not register.
