Need details of Recruitment of Doctors(IMO) in ESIC Hospital, Peenya

Doctors were called for recruitment of IMO in ESIC Hospital, Peenya by Central govt. ESIC Department. There was a written test based on which they called candidates for interview. For interview they had called candidates in 1:3 ratio, example- 60 general category candidates were called for vacancy of 20. But after interview they have selected more candidates from OBC category than mentioned in advertisement and given them in General category because of which general candidates got only 11 seats and remaining 9 seats of general category are given to candidates applied under OBC. So I want to know why this irregularity in selection has happened through RTI. But i dont have idea about how to apply RTI. Also they have not mentioned candidates scores in interview results. Kindly help me in filing an RTI to ESIC.

    Hi, Please mention the reference of the recruitment advertisement (whether newspaper advertisement or website or any other source). If newspaper, then please try to give the date so that RTI application can be much more effective. Also please tell when did this happen? 2011? Earlier?

    Please provide whatever information you have so that RTI can be effective. I will definitely help you thereafter.

      Hi, thanks for reply. Its for this year only. Advt no.44/2011, called in march, list for written test no. 130/2011,written test was held in may. result of written test and call for interview no.232/2011. interview was held from 16th to 20th of september and result of interview 262/2011, announced on 4th october. u can find these details in http://www.esic.nic.in.

    Dear Sir,

    Please provide me the following information relating to the selection of IMO held in 2011 in the ESI Hospital, Peenya under the Right to Information Act.

    1) Please give me a certified copy of the advertisement(advertisement number: 44/2011) for selection of IMO(Insurance Medical Officers)in ESI Hospital released in the month of March 2011.Also tell me the number of seats available for General Category, OBC(Other Backward Classes), SC(Scheduled Castes), ST (Scheduled Tribe)and PH(Physically Handicapped) category students in ESI Hospital, Peenya.

    2) Give me the list of students who had applied for the post of IMO at the ESI Hospital, Peenya and qualified in the written test(Those were called for the interview).Provide me with one certified copy of the document(document number: 232/2011) containing names of the aforesaid candidates.

    3) Please give me the marks obtained by all the aforesaid candidates in written test as well as the interview that were held from 16th September 2011 to 20th September 2011.Tell me the basis for providing the aforesaid marks.Thedocument containing marks of all the aforesaid candidates must be attested by all the interviewers.

    3) Please provide me with certified copies of the complete application forms of the following applicants:CHETAN.R(12040063), MANIKANTA K S(1204025), MOHAN KUMAR.C(12040275), NIRANJAN N (12040298), PRASAD NAVAL (1204032), RAMYA R NAYAK(12040370), SHIVAKUMAR N(12040455), VENUGOPAL .M(12040542), VINAY J(12040553).The figures given in the brackets are their respective roll numbers.The application form given to me must include but must not be limited to the OBC/SC/ST certificates of the applicants if they belong to any of the above mentioned categories.

    4) Please provide me with a certified copy of the final list of the candidates selected in the interview(Document number: 262/2011).Please tell me under which category (General/OBC) have each of the aforesaid applicants been selected for the post of IMO. Support your answer from the Document number: 262/2011.

    5) How many General Category applicants and OBC applicants have been selected as IMO of ESI Hospital, Peenya. Is the number of General Category applicants same as that mentioned in the advertisement asked for in my query number(1).If the answer is "No" then what is the reason for this drastic decrement in the number of selected General Category Students.Give me the names of officers responsible for the same.

    6) All the aforesaid applicants have been mentioned as OBC candidates according to the list of candidates selected for interview(number: 232/2011).But in the final list of candidates who cleared the interview(number: 262/2011), they appear as General Category candidates.What is the reason for this

    change in their category.Is it the error of officials in ESIC or is it the error of the candidates.Give me the names of the person or persons resposible for this error.What action will be taken against them.By when will the action be taken.

    7) Give me names of all interviewers.Why were the marks of selected candidates not communicated to the candidates who appeared for the interview.Give me names of the officials responsible for this lack of communication.What action will be taken against them.By when will the action be taken.

    Hi madhu, i was one who appeared for interview….. I asked there about reservation. They told they l prepare general list of 20 irrespective of category then they l give obc students….. U only think, there was 20 seats for GM n 60 people called, 11 seats for OBC n 60 people called in that. See next …

    If 20 seats r fix for gm students then they l have 1 in 3 chance. N obc people 1 in 6 chance. Then wat is d meaning of reservation to obc?

    For selection they have mentioned like 20 seats UR means unreserved. I think anybody including sc, st or obc people can take in unreserved category.

    Do u remember how our mbbs counselling conducted? ‘l give 1 example. An obc guy Mr X gets 100th rank n he wants in bmc. There is only 1 seat in gm left, n still 5 seats in obc left…. But he has to take seat in gm only…. When no gm seats left then he l be allowed to take in obc. This is the funda of reservation….

    The RTI Application that we had sent has been returned back saying “No Such Person” written on its back.However it has been sent back through another speed post.Hence it is certain that they ignored our application after having received it.Our experts are looking into what further steps should be taken in this matter.
