Sir,
My husband, an officer of Punjab National Bank,posted at Lekhapani, Assam branch of the same branch as the incumbent incharge. He has been falsely implicated in disciplinary proceedings and put in suspension on alleged overpayment of pension by the branch, during his incumbency. But, no complaint has been put forward by RBI in it’s inspection reports of the nodal branch of Punjab National Bank at Dibrugarh, which use to reimburse the pension claims put by paying branches under it. The copies of RBI inspection reports are crucial to prove the innocence on the part of my husband. But the bank denying to provide these reports.
So, I would like to request the CPIO of the bank, through RTI, for the following:
Would it be better to ask RBI directly?
Sir, If you think that the purpose can be served in a better way, by sending RTI to RBI directly, then it is ok. I again thank you people for taking so much pain on our behalf.

Mr. V. S. Das is first appellate authority and not CPIO.
Just address to CPIO RBI there in-word sends it to proper PIO.
Instead of Speed Post, locate the post office who takes and deliver the application to RBI. Hand over the application to that post and take the receipt.
There are no postal charges for this service and you get the acknowledgement from post as well as RBI to whom application is forwarded.
You can deposit in that post office in cash also.

how do we distinguish between drafter RTIs which are non-anonymous and anonymous?
We have tried our best to put only Anonymous RTI’s in the Drafted Section.So all Drafted RTI’s are non-anonymous RTI’s. There are few exceptions, done on a case-by-case basis. If you find some, that really need not be non-anonymous, please put a comment on why you think, it should be non-anonymous and based on the reply from others, I will move it out of the Drafted Category to the Resolved Non-anonymous Category
