Subject: Information required under the Right to Information Act 2005

Dear Madam,

Kindly provide me with the following information requested under the purview of the Right to Information Act, 2005.

Particulars of information required: As per list mentioned below

1) Provide slab wise pension details of last fiscal. For example:

2) Number of establishments and members, who have opted for whole wage pension provision (i.e. contribution to pension fund beyond limit of 6500/-) vs establishment, member who have not opted for it, year wise.

3) What measures have been taken by your institution for increasing participation of member towards whole wage provision for pension contribution?

4) What are the criteria, if any for participation on whole wages for pension scheme beyond cap of 6500/-?

5) How is the pension calculated for member who choose to opt for whole wage at later stage, even if there income was more than 6500/- before? Ex. If income of a person is already above 6500/- limit but he has been contributing 521/- towards pension and now he opts to contribute on whole wage provision. How would his pensionable salary would be calculated?

6) What is the provision for member to opt for the whole wage provision for pension scheme? How can a member/establishment choose to increase its contribution beyond cap of 6500/-? Please provide step wise details and contact persons contact details.

7) Why aren’t all members be provided with an option to increase their pension contribution towards higher pension beyond the cap of 6500/-

8) What option does a member has for increasing his contribution for pension fund beyond capped salary of 6500/-, if his salary is already more than that and he was not aware of the said option. Even many establishments are not aware of this option.

9) Please provide with the number of establishments, who made application for higher wage provision for pension contribution. How many of those were allowed to do so? If there are any rejections, please provide brief reasons.

    This RTI Application has been drafted by us.It is now ready to file.
    However we do not think that filing this RTI Application will lead to any threat or harassment to the applicant.We are facing a severe crunch of volunteers and are currently overburdened with other applications of the sort which might lead to harassment of the applicant.As it is our duty to cater to their cause beforehand, hence there might significant delay in filing this application.We hence request the original RTI requester to file this RTI Application himself/herself.
