With reference to the subject matter, please provide me the following information:
- Please provide me the details of expenses incurred on different heads under NMEEE.
- Please provide me details of enhanced energy efficiency achieved or likely to be achieved because of NMEEE with detailed time frame..
- Please provide me the details of payments made to Agencies/Consultants in connection with NMEEE.
- Please provide me copies of the Bio Data / Credentials of Advisors and Consultants involved in different activities under NMEEE and the basis of their appointments.

This is with reference to your application dated 12th February, 2012 received through Prime Minister’s Office OM No. RTI/1015/2012-PMR dt. 12.03.2012 and Ministry of Power’s letter No. 10/01/2012-RTI dt. 16.03.2012 on 20.03 2012 seeking information pertaining to NMEEE under the RTI Act. (2) As a result of implementing NMEEE, it is estimated that by 2015, about 23 million tonnes of oil equivalent (MTOE) of fuel will be saved, capacity addition of over 19,000 MW avoided, and emissions of carbon dioxide reduced by 98.55 million tonnes annually.

Dear Sir,
Thanks a lot for the reply.However,I find that BEE has tried to hide the real information i.e. For what purpose these expenses were incurred and on what basis the the parties were given the assignments. To our knowledge,the consultancy assignments were awarded without following the CVC guidelines.The estimated clams of energy savings due to NMEEE are highly inflated and based on wrong surveys / studies and calculations.MOP/BEE have mislead the country.The in depth investigations will reveal how MOP/BEE have caused losses due to their incompetence to realize real energy savings.
