filling up of MBBS and PG seats before the notification by private Medical Colleges

Sh. Shikhar Ranjan Law Officer Medical Council of india

All the private Medical colleges across India are filling the MBBS and PG seats

much before the notification. All the seats of management quota are filled up

for excess amount than the amount fixed by respective state govts.

  • Do you have any mechanism to prevent this. if yes what is it? are you procuring the list of all

the students applied for management quota or only admitted merit list?

Each seat of MBBS is sold at a price 20- 30 lakhs excess and also which is taken as black amount.

PG seats like MD Radiology, Orthopedics, pediatrics, OBG, Medicine are sold 80 lakhs – 100 lakhs excess.

there are 335 medical colleges across India out of which more than 50% are private. Huge amount of fraud is happening

this is one of the smoothly ongoing black money circulation as there is no transparency.

  • Is NEET proposed for MBBS and PG entrance includes management quota?
  • If not why?
  • if the management quota is also filled through NEET then the entire admission process will be transparent.

    Dear Sir,
The RTI Act 2005 is meant to obtain particular Govt. documents from a govt. department.
RTI-A can help you in filing an RTI and obtaining such documents.
Please let me know, exactly, what kind of govt. document, would you like to obtain
