Irregularity and favouritism in transfers in LIC of India

LIC is a public sector and flourishing with the public money. But due to growing Favoritism by LIC management in transfers of engineers, there is always a very big scope of corruption in LIC. Some of the engineers especially from Mumbai and Maharashtra are given favour and they are kept in their Zone for last more than ten to fourteen  years whereas some engineers are transferred frequently out of Zone. Due to their long stay in western zone, these engineers are indulge in corrupt practices and  misusing public money and damaging LIC of India. I, hereby, declare that I am a Citizen of India and information sought in this application will be used in the best of the Public Interest and stopping corruption and favoritism in LIC.

 

1.   The information needed is in the form of Documents & Clarification.

2.   The Information sought pertains to LIC of India, your Central office, Mumbai.

3.   The Required Information is for the period of last 10 years.

4.   The information sought is related to affected party, third Party & for public interest

5.   The particular / details of Information / Documents asked for are given below:-

 

(a)   Copy of Documents pertaining to Inter Zone Transfer policy of Engineering Officers working in LIC.

(b)  names of engineers posted/working in Western Zone (consist of Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa) for last more than 10 years and not transferred to other Zone even after completing 12 years stay in parent Zone and tok all promotions in same western Zone.

(c) Copy of Note sheet bearing decision for not transferring these engineers out of Western Zone like other engineers for transparency, equality and as a anti corruption measures.   

(d)    Documents showing decisions for not transferring these engineers to other Zone.

(e)   names of engineers who belong to Karnataka under South Central Zone and transferred from South Central Zone to other Zone after completing only 4 to 5 years stay in the Zone.

(f)    Documents showing decisions  for transferring these engineers from Karnataka to other Zone.

    Dear Sir,
    I have modified this application so that we can focus on just getting the required information and documents.
    The RTI Act 2005, does not need you to provide any long reasons, on why you are seeking the information. Once you have the relevant information/documents, it is upto you to decide on how to use these documents.
