Corruption In NIT PATNA

Respected sir

With due respect i want you to file an RTI on my behalf in NIT Patna inquiring about the use of funds and grants given by Government of India.I am a regular student of this college so I fear to file an RTI on my behalf fearing academic backlash from institution resulting in destruction of my carrier.The infrastructure of our college in in a poor state which is not even comparable to private college ,leave the standards of other NITs.

According to some sources our college is granted funds in tune of hundreds of crores but it is not infused in the development of college.The equipments in our labs are decades old which never provides the correct reading.There is no sports facility or any recreational activity.As per the information from our seniors NIT Jamshedpur got Rs. fourteen lakhs for the freshers party whereas our college gave only Rs. three lakhs which is beyond comparison.There are no sufficient hostels to accommodate the students and the existing one are in poor condition.There are no flush in the toilets,no 24 hour water supply and overall the food served are of poor quality.In the past 2-3 months several cases of jaundice are been reported from the Hostels.

I sincerely beg your attention towards my query which will result in flourishing of lives of several students.Please secure my identity from being made public.

    1. Are regular funds granted to National Institute of Technology, Patna.
    2. If yes,are details of expenditure submitted to your office by the NIT, Patna
    3. If yes to question no 3, Kindly provide certified copy of detailed expenditure report of last 3 years.
    4. Is their any procedure for inspection of working of NITs especially their infrastructure by officers of your office.
    5. If yes to question no 4, Kindly provide inspection report of last 3 years
    6.Is their any mechanism through which a students can voice their grievances while remaining anonymous
