IIT Roorkee, Jawahar Bhawan, A Block
I would like to know the reason behind the chopping of trees behind A Block of Jawahar Bhawan, the reason provided by the Bhawan authorities was that it was done for building a volleyball court, however after the chopping of trees the volleyball court was built somewhere else.
To Chop any tree in public they should get clearance.. Or should be able to prove that tree might cause damage to human life
Ask for :
1) Number of trees cut During MONTH/YEAR
2) Copy of Clearance obtained to cut those trees
3) Any Reason available on records for cutting down the trees.
