few queries regarding filing RTI
I have few queries regarding the filing of RTI , if possible kindly clarify :
1. After the drafting is done by ‘getup4change.org‘ , then I have to take the printout of the final draft and send it through speed post ?
2. In the application is it required to put my address for getting the reply from the PIO office ?
3. Is there any option that ‘getup4change.org‘ will file the RTI on behalf of me, and after the mentioned time the reply will be displayed in the ‘getup4change.org‘ website itself ?

Answer to 1: After the Drafting is done, preferably cp-paste it to a word document and then take a printout, just so that its in a good format.
Answer 2: You can put your name and address, if you want the reply to come to your address. But if you are concerned about Anonymity, then you can send the RTI application in the name of one of us.
Name of the Applicant: Ritesh Singh
Address at which Information is Desired: D311, R. P. Hall, IIT Kharagpur, Paschim Midnapur, West Bengal, PIN – 721302.
Sign in the name of ‘Ritesh Singh’, enclose an unaddressed Postal Order worth Rs. 10 as RTI Fees and send the RTI through Speed Post to the Public Information Officer.
Please do Leave a Reply on the web page of the post with the Speed Post Consignment number to help us to send the reply directly to you via Email when we get it from the Public Information Officer.
Answer to 3. : If the application posted is under the purview of RTI and is deemed to require anonymity, then we at RTI Anonymous will file it, on your behalf. But since currently we are facing a severe crunch of volunteers, we are encouraging people to file these RTI’s under the name of Ritesh Singh (with details mentioned above)
The reply will be displayed on the website itself and you have to download it from the website
