Sub: Information regarding Mosquito Control in Chennai under the Right To Information Act.,2005

Sir,

I wanted to information regarding Mosquito Control methods implemented by Chennai Corporation, request you to provide the below information for the period of January 2010 to January 2012

1. Please provide the exact details of the steps implemented for the Control of Mosquito’s by the Health Department, Chennai corporation

2. Please provide the details of the results of the above mentioned steps that have been implemented to control Mosquito

3. Did the Chennai corporation conduct a survey on the effectiveness of the controls implemented by Chennai corporation?

4. Please provide the details on how Mosquito control measures are implemented in Chennai.

5.List the interval at which each type of Mosquito control is implemented

6 If the Chennai Corporation’s Mosquito Control Measurements, do not cover all the areas of chennai, then please provide the details on how many percentage area is covered by Chennai Corporation.

7.  If the Chennai Corporation’s Mosquito Control Measurements, cover all the areas of chennai , then please provide the dates on which this measures were implemented with details about what control and which area it was implemented.

8. Please provide the following details of the study or analysis done by the Chennai Corporation Health Department  on the Mosquito Count in different parts of Chennai

8a) Date when the study was done

8b) A copy of the report of the above mentioned study/analysis

8c) Details of the steps implemented as per the Study report

If no study or analysis has been done by the Chennai Corporation Health Department  on the Mosquito Count in different parts of Chennai, then please mention the same

9. Please provide the exact number of the Employees involved in Mosquito Control measures for the whole Chennai
