Subject: Information regarding “SUBJECT” is requested u/s 6(1) Right to Information Act of 2005.

Details of the information requested are as under (2.1 to 2.12):

2.1         (Information No.1): Is it true that State Bank of Patiala is asking supervisory staff to work on 12 holidays/Sundays, exclusively for Annual Closing?

2.2         (Information No.2): Is it true that Bank is offering Rs. 9000/-(i.e. @ Rs. 700/- per holiday working)?

2.3         (Information No.3): Is it justified to pay Rs. 700/- per day to a officer for working whole day?  By offering Rs. 700/-, is Bank forfeiting officer’s right of claiming overtime?

2.4         (Information No.4): Confirm that Annual Closing of State Bank of Patiala take 2-3 months time(If Annual Closing work starts from 01.04.12, than 12 holidays/Sunday would end by June, 2012)?

2.5         (Information No.5): Chartered Accountants have Audited books of all branches of State Bank of Patiala within Ist week of April, 2012.  After getting the Books audited what Closing work would run till June, 2012?

2.6         (Information No.6): Justify the reason for offering 12 holiday/Sunday overtime even after getting Books audited by Auditors within Ist week of April, 2012.

2.7         (Information No.7): Justify that Bank’s Senior Management is not accommodating themselves by charging @ Rs. 700/-, per day for working 12 Sundays/holidays, even after getting books of Branches/Bank audited within Ist week of April, 2012.

2.8         (Information No.8): Justify that Bank Management is not accommodating Officers of all branches by paying @ Rs. 700/-, per day for working 12 Sundays/holidays, even after getting books of Branches/Bank audited within Ist week of April, 2012.

2.9         (Information No.9): Justify that Bank Management is not wasting public money.

2.10      (Information No.10): Evan State Bank of India is not paying its Supervisory staff like this.  Has this method for making payment to officers, been reported to SBI?

2.11      (Information No.11): Name, Designation and Office Address of the SPIO/CPIO replying to this Application

2.12      (Information No.12): Please inform me of the Name, Designation and Office address of the First Appellate Authority. Also, please inform me of the details of fees to be paid for First Appeal.

I request you to follow Section 7(3) of the RTI Act 2005 for providing information/providing with photocopies of supporting documents related to the information requested above.
