Land Aquisition by Army in Mhow M.P.
Sir, I own property & land in Mhow M.P. india which is a FEE SIMPLE (FREEHOLD) property bought by us. The Army has acquired this without any Payment whatso ever after ejecting the residents . I have managed to get a stay order but losing my revenue from the tenants as this was intended for my old age. I am over 80 yrs old and as the courts move very slowly in these matters I am experiencing some diffficulty for my family & myself. What would you advise me to do?
If the Military has acquired ur freehold property, it must be as per the Land Acquisition Rules of the State.But u r entitled to the compensation at the market rates. U have not benn paid by this and they have forcibly evicted u. Legal remedy appears to be the only wayout.
