RTI Requests

We request the following details under the RTI Act 2005. The details of the information which is required for the mentioned THANJAVUR MUNICIPALITY LAND (T.S. No. 480) & its full addresses is given below.

THANJAVUR MUNICIPALITY TOWN SURVEY NO. 480,

Arasamarthu Sandhu(Near Muniandavar Temple),

Kodi Marathu Moolai, East Main Street,

Thanjavur – 613 001. TN.  INDIA.

1. Whom does this land T.S.No 480 of the thanjavur municipality limits belongs to? Does this belongs to a private party or a public property( i.e. Thanjavur Municipality)? if it is belong to a private property, Please let us know the name and address of the private party who is legally entitled to claim the ownership of this property?

2. What is the original size of the land T.S.No. 480 (Please specify in length(ft), breath(ft) and total area/size of the land in Square Feet. If possible, Please provide the  survey department detailed drawings etc.,).

3. What is the original size of the land T.S.No. 481 (Please specify in length(ft), breath(ft) and total area/ size of the land in Square Feet). How much is the total house taxes/year paid earlier by the land lord to the thanjavur municipality? Pl provide the break up of taxes along with the extent of areas covered in the house taxes paid before?

4. Does this land T.S.No. 480 belongs to Thanjavur Municipality, if yes, Pl tell us whether this land is still under your possession/encroached? if encroached, Who is the party (Name & Address)? Have you received any complaints about the encroachment cum unauthorized apartment complex so far? what is the legal action taken by the Thanjavur Municipality to secure your property?

5. Does anybody building an apartment complex\construction on this land T.S.No.480? if so, whether proper permission has been obtained from thanjavur municipality and LPA? if yes, please provide their respective reference numbers etc., ?

6. As we understood, the land lord of T.S.No. 481 is encroaching the thanjavur municipality land T.S.No. 480 and building an unauthorized apartment complex, is it correct?  If it is correct, what is the legal action taken? Does he posses any legal documents or entitled to encroach/possession of this land legally? Have you made police complaint about this encroachment of the municipality land which is a  public property encroached by a private person?

7.  If the above mentioned land T.S.No. 480 belongs to Thanjavur Municipality and if it is encroached by an private party? Please tell us who has encroached this land? if it is private party then who is that private party  (extent of encroachment  and violations) and on what basis he is allowed so far to do an encroachment?  what is the action taken by the Thanjavur Municpality against him so far to stop the encroachment immediately?

8. If this land T.S.No. 480 belongs to public property (i.e Thanjavur Municipality)?  and if it is encroached by a private party? What is the disciplinary action taken by you so far? Do you have any plans to take immediate action to stop the encroachment and cease the new construction/building?  Have you filed an legal suit to evacuate the occupancy or  let the violator scout free on personnel grounds? What is the departmental actions will taken by the Thanjavur Municipality about the illegal encroachment cum Unauthorized apartment complex under construction by the violator?
