RTI to Indira Gandhi National Open University, Delhi
1. Indira Gandhi National Open University, Delhi since last year advertising for their all course including on-campus and distance, but this time only distance advertisement has been published. I want to Know under which legislative authority Vice Chancellor ( in-charge) of IGNOU has scrapped face to face courses.
2. If the full time courses are not scrapped than why university has not advertised for on campus, face to face, full-time programmes along with advertisement.
3. where is the charge transfer letter for appointment of Vice Chancellor ordered by former VC V N R Pillai. and under which basis Voice Chancellor(in-charge) has been appointed. Provide the official letter from earlier VC
4. Under which consideration tenure of Registrar Administration ( U.S. Tolia) extended and Pro VCs terminated as constitutionally both these posts are terminated with former VC on 20 October 2011.
5. Under which legal provisions full time M.Phil and Ph.D programmes are running from University and because of which provisions full time MA courses are closed.
6. Sexual Abuse complaints against Registrar of the University U. S. Tolia and School of Social Science Professor Prof. E. Vayunandan, already lodged in Nebsarai Police Station dated 01.05.2012. What are the steps university is taking for this. Is there any inquiry started if yes what are the findings and if no, why not.
Firstly understand :
point 2) Why university has not advertised? You should not ask like this. under RTI we cannot question why this executive decision is taken or What so n so thinks on this issue. Frame differently.

Please provide me information related to IGNOU, (Delhi/place other details u wish to clarify)as under:
1)Copies of rules, legislation/directives pertaining to termination or closure of courses under which IGNOU has closed and terminated regular on campus courses.(ensure that courses are scrapped; otherwise there might be delay in advertise)
2)Copies of rules, act, directions indicating procedure and criteria for appointment of VC (incharge) or acting VC.Also give letter pertaining to transfer of charge from former VC N R Pillai to current VC.
3)Copies of rules , laws of ‘extention and termination’ under which tenure of Registrar Administration ( U.S. Tolia) has been extended and tenure of Pro VCs terminated.
4)Information indicating dicipinary action taken on Registrar of the University U. S. Tolia and School of Social Science Professor Prof. E. Vayunandan as the result of compain lodged in Nebsarai Police Station dated 01.05.2012.
5) Copies of Communication received and done in above FIR dated 1/5/2012 with police or any other authority in this matter.

hi, i am gaurav from rajasthan. i am pursuing regular b.tech (face to face) from ignouviep. this programme was started in 2010. now according to hon’ble delhi highcourt ignou can’t do this. please help me,plz tell me is my degree valid????
