Accountability about the Donations Given via TV show Satyamev Jayate

Hi all,

Recently I was seeing this show and it said viewers to support the cause of social evils to be removed and asked for donations via SMS and cheques to be given to some organisation.

It also said that the amount of donations that we collect from viewers, an equal amount of that would be donated by their philanthropic Social partner Reliance Foundation.

By using this medium i wish to know the amount of donations collected, contribution by Reliance and to whom these donations are given, how these organisations getting the money are using this money..etc.

    RTI Anonymous is an orgn. meant to file RTI’s for people, that need anonymity , since they are under danger of life, career etc. This request can be filed by you and does not need any anonymity

    @Anand thanks for replying.
    But if the accounts info thus relieved via this RTI is flawed and there are any irregularities then there could be a issue for the one who wants this information.
    Moreover this issue highlighted is of national concern if the money is not reaching to the needy.
    So I believe whosoever applies for the info it for the welfare for entire community.
    What do you say….??
