Non availability of PG Scholarship to GATE scholars
We, the bona fide second-semester M.Tech. students (GATE scholars) of University School of Information & Communication Technology, would like to file RTI towards the non-availability of PG Scholarship provided by AICTE.
We had taken admission in M.Tech. course of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha university with the certainty that we shall be getting monthly stipend of Rs. 8000/-.Most of us have left our jobs for pursuing M.Tech.(Regular) with stipend from this university. At least we expect to get the scholarship every three-month or every six-month. It has been already more than 9 months but we have not got even a single penny. When we approach the bank for education loan to meet our financial needs, they deny us stating the reason we are GATE scholars and entitled to get Rs.8000/- per month as scholarship so they can’t help us in any way. Now how on earth we convince them that we are not getting any kind of scholarship and we are in the real need of money.
For the last three years, no GATE scholar of this University (USICT) has got any kind of scholarship and they blame AICTE for reasons like they are not releasing any fund. If it is so, how the institutes affiliated to our university (CDAC and AIT) are getting funds for the same purpose? GATE scholars from these institutes receive scholarship every six-month.
it’s not like we are asking for something really big that we don’t deserve. We are just asking for something that we are inherently entitled for, being GATE scholars.

i am taking this matter.I am aware of this situation. Stipend has not been given to even those students who have passed out 2-3 yrs back.
however you should try uploading RTI as it will facilitate faster response.
i would advice you people to file 10 RTIs yourself.if u r not comfortable with ur own names use your siblings name.there is no threat involve.i know all the officials. they are corrupt as well as coward. (how do i know this cz i passed from usbt 2007 batch btech)

this was all happen to us. i had passed MTech in 2008. and still i didnot received second year fellowship. i filled RTI to college as well as AICTE. the mater is still unresolved.
college DSW dean says that the matter is pending with AICTE WHILE AItCE told us the matter is pending with college. they both hiding the facts.
what should i do in that situtaion?
please file my rti also its very urgent on no reply from pgportal.gov.in i filed 1 to darpg but i m afraid of my 2 nd rti to tis site wich is for asp police
