Sub: Provide information under RTI

Ref: Advt. NO. 1/2011 dated 22 January 2011

With reference to the above you have to provide information regarding the following.

  1. Whether these posts are reserved for internal candidates?
  2. Whether internal candidates, i.e., regular employees who are on the rolls of NAL are eligible to apply?
  3. If yes why it was not mentioned in the advt.?
  4. If No, justify?
  5. Whether persons working in NAL as Research Fellow/ Associate, working on Contract, working on Adhoc are eligible for these posts? Whether anyone applied?
  6. If yes, give details? what precautions are you taking to prevent these candidates lobbying, leakage of questions of written test, influencing the interview panel?
  7. If they get selected by the above means, does that mean this as back door entry by denying the rights of  candidates other than the above candidates?
  8. The job details, requirements, qualification, etc., prima facie looks as resumes of people who are already working on Adhoc at NAL at the same department where posts are called for, Is this is true?
  9. If yes, justify it?

10. Whether resumes of candidates working in NAL as Research Fellow/ Associate, working on Contract were taken as the job details, requirements, qualification, etc.,?

11. If no, how is it possible for a candidate who has not worked at NAL to acquire such unique experience without working at NAL? How did NAL arrive at these the job details, requirements, qualification, etc. for the posts called for? What is the basis for these requirements? Give detailed explaination.

12. Whether these posts will be filled by selecting those candidates whose resumes are given as the job details, requirements, qualification, etc?

13. If yes justify the reason behind this advertisement?

14. If no whether candidates other than these internal candidates invited can initiate legal proceedings against any discrimination?

  1. Under which jurisdiction NAL does belong if any legal proceeding has to be initiated?
  2. Why only candidates who were working on adhoc got selected? Justify.
  3. How many candidates selected are from SC, ST, OBC, General Category?
  4. Whether these posts were inherently reserved for Brahmins?
  5. Whether candidates from SC, ST, OBC were discriminated?
  6. Is it true that maximum percentage of selected candidates were from General (Brahmins) Category and all of them were already working in NAL as Research Fellow/ Associate, working on Contract, working on Adhoc ?

21. How many members were belonging to same community as selected candidate in the interview panel?
