- Is there any European Countries regulation relating MRLs for carbendazim (pesticide residue) for export of basmati rice to EU
- Are EIAs/ EIC testing basmati rice for carbendazim (pesticide residue) prior to export of basmati rice to EU so as to comply the EU regulations.
- If yes, please provide the test results for the last 50 consignments.
- Has any samples exceed MRLs for carbendazim (pesticide residue) in basmati rice for EU
- If yes, whether that particular consignment was allowed to be exported to EU
- If yes, please provide the certificate of authenticity number and date corresponding to such consignments exceeding MRLs for carbendazim (pesticide residue)
- Under which rule / order / notification said unsatisfactory consignments were allowed for export.
- Whether Director, Export Inspection Council has permitted such export of failed consignments.
- If yes, whether he is empowered to do so?
It can be non-anonymous unless serious concerns specified by applicant.
I think this is serious as it involves the official certification body of govt of India and it could be tip of ice berg we may dig into more as I know it is not a stray case there are many such cases stakes are high hence recommended strongly to be anonymous
