Sub: Application under Right to Information (RTI) act., 2005.
Sir,
Please provide the following information related to the contingency of INSPIRE fellowship:
1. What are the different purposes for which a student can claim contingency fund? Please
kindly elaborate on each purpose and mode of utilisation (for example: which mode of transport
and journey classes, kind of accommodation, etc).
2. What was the net contingency fund available during 2008-2012? How much was claimed by
various students?
3. How much money has been sanctioned by IISER Pune from the  contingency fund of the
students for various purposes, since the commencement of INSPIRE fellowships?
a. What are the different causes for which the contingency is granted so far, for various
students?
b. How much money is actually sanctioned  for each individual cause?
4. What happens to the funds in case of non-utilisation of contingency fund by a student during
his/her study term?
