  1. Avnish - RTI Anonymous Team says:

This RTI seems well drafted to me. I would request applicant to file this RTI on its own, since no requirement of anonymity to request this information.

  2. theaufi says:

Avnish, thanks for your prompt response. I wonder there is a nexus between private players & BSNL officials. Irrespective of area, they ‘ve not been allotting any new connections in this area or any area for that matter in Pune.

  3. We have talked to senior executives in the telephone department regarding your problem.

They gave us the following reply:

“Even if there is a nexus, it is extremely difficult to connive with private parties by not releasing connections because these figures are being monitored at a very senior level. Normally the connivance manifests into substandard services.

One possibility is that the area where you want the connections may have been marked as TNF (Technically Non-Feasible). This can happen due to a number of genuine reasons.

So, please talk to the General Manager (GM) or higher officer/s related to the Yerawada Telephone Exchange. If you are not satisfied with their reply, we will try to help you.”
