disbersement of funds for roads in Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir
i am a contractor from Kashmir. like me many other contractor’s have completed there works alloted in 2011-2012 (financial year) however, partly payment has been made by the R&B Department/Govt even for the works which have been completed year ago in 5th month of 2011, with the result, contractors are suffering badly. the payments come under several heads like, NABARD, CRF etc, however, less than 50% of the payment has been made, of what the R&B was supposed to pay.
i want to inquire , what is the total amount of money R&B Department/Govt has recieved from different haeads and for which scemes, like, city development, towns and city development etc for different districts of Kashmir.
i also want to inquire, what is the total number of works allotted and completed for which they have to make payment and what is the total amount of the total work completed.
lastly, what is the total amount they have paid to the parties.

We are sorry sir, but your RTI cannot be filed, because the Right to Information Act of Kashmir specifically says that people from outside of kashmir cannot file an RTI in Kashmir. As we have no member from kashmir who can file this RTI we cannot be of any help to you.
The Indian Government has made Kashmir a special State so laws of Kashmir are different from other parts of India, We are really sorry sir we are being of no help to you here because we have no one from Kashmir in our team.
