Regarding to DJB

My RTI is about water bills. I live in North East zone, I am very disturb about this water Bills. I want to know about How these bill be calculate. We don’t use the much water, but its bill is too much. I went to its head-Office to know about the calculation of water bill. When, I went there nobody talk about the bill and no one know how to calculate the bill and also talk rudely. I forced them to tell me how to calculate water bill, but its useless.
So, its my request please tell me about Water Bill calculation and where I resolve my problem.

sir i guess DJB is DELHI JAL BOARD. Calculation is given at the back side of bill which is usage based. Tariff chart is given. For less usage they charge less, for more usage rates are high. you can see your reader meeting then calculate is yourself. Regarding the problem of inflated bills, check your meter reading. It might be possible that meter is faulty or the representative of DJB who note down the reading is making some mistake.
Finally if you want you take written complaint and submit it in the office and get it received on the photocopy followed by RTI after 10 days seeking action taken on your complaint.
This will solve your problem.
