RAC – Indian Railways
Dear All,
when a person booked a railway ticket three months ago and when the time coes to board the train, he comes to know that his ticket is confirmed but in the RAC, where he gets one birth instead of two.
He has already paid the amount for two tickets.
On the other side inside people confirms the ticket who reserve the ticket a day ago, somewhere inner officers are curropt.
Please help.

Not Necessarily. There is something called Tatkal Quota which allows booking the tickets a day in advance.
beside the tatkal quota some berths are secure for hor quota means head office/railway board quota which can be allotted out of the way to those pax who are recommended by railway high officials, like personals who have to join duty , handicap or disable or sick persons etc.
