- Subject of information : Qualification of Assistant Prof. in Engg Institute
- Please provide me the following information
1) Detail meaning of the statement stated in AICTE approval process handbook (2011-12 & 2012-13) under 8.2 Faculty Cadre and Qualifications (Degree & Post Graduate), which states that “B.E / B.Tech and M.E / M.Tech in relevant subject with First class or equivalent either in B.E / B.Tech or M.E / M.Tech ”
2) According to AICTE, is a person eligible for the post of Assistant Professor in Engineering Institute in India, if he has secured 2nd class in B.E / B.Tech and 1st class in M.E / M.Tech in relevant subject?
3) According to AICTE, is a person eligible for the post of Assistant Professor in Engineering Institute in India, if he has secured 1st class in B.E / B.Tech and 2nd class in M.E / M.Tech in relevant subject?
I hereby inform that following formalities have been completed by me:
- Below Poverty Line (BPL): Yes / No
- That I am ‘Citizen’ of India and I am asking the information as ‘Citizen’.
Yes, he is eligible as it clearly says Either in BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech
If you want to get it cleared then the RTI seems well drafted.The applicant can file the RTI on his own as no anonymity is required to request this information.
As I am residential of Pune I could not file it in Delhi. Can Somebody File it on be half of Me. Please let me know…
