This is to request you to kindly provide the following information along with copies of necessary supporting official documents.
- Reference: The Gazette of India, REGD. NO. D. L-33004/99, part III, Section 4, no. 70, New delhi, Saturday march 13, 2010 Notification: New delhi 5 March, 2010, F. No.37-3/Legal/2010 (AICTE payscale and service conditions and qualification for Teachers and Academic Staff in Technical Institutions (Degree) Regulations, 2010)
- Detail of information desired: In the above mentioned AICTE notification for Degree Technical Institution, it is mentioned the minimum required qualification for the post of Assistant Professor for Engineering/Technology is B.E/B.Tech and M.E/M.Tech in relevant branch with first class or equivalent either in B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech. Similarly for the post of Associate Professor & Professor in Engineering/Technology the minimum required qualification is same as in case of Assistant Professor with additional requirement of PhD in appropriate Discipline.
With reference to the above kindly clarify the following points along with the justification
a) Which Branches of Engineering at B.E/B.Tech and M.E/ M.Tech can be considered relevant and why for the Post of Assistant professor in Computer Science and Engineering
b) Which Discipline of PhD can be considered appropriate and why for the post of Associate Professor and Professor in Computer Science and Engineering.
- Particulars of information: Kindly furnish the information desired above along with necessary official documents/justifications regarding/supporting the same.
