RTI Requests

Office of Director of Accounts , Cabinet Secretariat, East Block -IX , Level V  , R K Puram, New Delhi-110066  had  forwarded  letter under Ref No. SW/GED-I/3(6)/5/2006-07/1378-80 dated 20 Mar 2008 addressed to Director, Director of Estates,Nirman Vihar, New Delhi. regarding refund of License fees of Rs.327/- no action to this has been taken up till date to refund the amount.

It is to inform that S hri  J N Brahmi, Ex US, Cabinet Secretariat, New Delhi was allotted Qtrs No. 490, S III, Pushp Vihar, on 20.08.1991  in special pool. However he did not accept the offer. In the meantime Director of Accounts had recovered the License fee and water charges from his pay and allowances  for the period from 9/1991 to 11/1991 @ Rs.109/- per month total Rs.327/-. Since Shri Brahmi had not accepted the offer, the amount should have been refunded to him, whereas the same has not been refunded to him and it is almost 12 years.  The concerned have not replied nor taken action on issue till date. Why So?
