Delay in students fee reimbursement from 2 years in Uttar pradesh
1) UTTAR PRADESH GOVERNMENT RUNS A SCHEME WHERE THEY PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS AND FEE REIMBURSEMENT SCHEME FOR ECONOMICALLY BACKWARD CLASSES.
2) THE SCHOLARSHIP COVERS STUDENTS FROM SCHEDULED CASTE ,SCHEDULED TRIBES AND FROM OTHER BACKWARD CLASSES WHOSEANNUAL INCOME IS NOT MORE THAN 1 LAKH RUPEES FROM ALL SOURCES.
3) THIS SCHOLARSHIP IS BEEN PROVIDED TO EACH AND EVERY STUDENT WHETHER HE IS STUDYING TILL INTERMEDIATE OR HIGHER EDUCATION IN COLLEGES PROVIDED THAT THEY HAVE PRESCRIBED ANNAUL INCOME
4) THE SCHOLARSHIP AIMS TO PROVIDE A SMALL AMOUNT AS SCHOLARSHIP AND FEE REIMBURSEMENT FOR TUTION FEE.
5) THE STUDENT PROVIDES HIS CASTE CERTIFICATE , ANNUAL INCOME CERTIFICATE AND AN AFFIDAVIT PROVING HIS ELIGIBILITY FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP AS SOON AS THE NEW SESSION STARTS AFTER HE SUBMITS HIS FEES IN THE INSITUTION. THEN HE GETS BACK HIS SCHOLARSHIP AND FEE REIMBURSED BEFORE STARTING OF THE NEW SESSION SO THAT THE STUDENT CAN EASILY PAY NEXT YEAR FEE AND CONTINUE HIS STUDIES EASILY WITHOUT ANY FINANCIAL PRESSURE.
6) THE AMOUNT FOR THE SCHEDULED CASTE AND SCHEDULED TRIBE IS BEEN PROVIDED BY THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT TO THE STATE GOVERNMENT,WHEREAS FOR OTHER BACK WARD CLASSES STATE GIVES IT THROUGH ITS OWN BUDGET.
7) MILLIONS OF STUDENTS ARE DEPENDENT ON THIS SCHOLARSHIP IN UTTAR PRADESH TO CONTINUE THEIR STUDIES .
8) FOR OTHER BACKWARD CLASSES “SOCIAL WELFARE DEPARTMENT ” IS THE DESIGNATED DEPARTMENT TO DISTRIBUTE THE AMOUNT DIRECTLY TO THE ACCOUNTS OF STUDENTS.
9) THEIR ARE MANY INSTITUTIONS WHO HAVE NOT RECIEVED ANY MONEY FOR THEIR STUDENTS EVEN FPOR THE SESSION 2010-2011 ( WHICH WAS MAYAWATI’S REGIME)
10) WHEN ASKED BY THE SOCIAL WELFARE DEPARTMENT THEY SAY THAT THEY HAVE NOT RECIEVED ANY AMOUNT TO BE DISTRIBUTED.AND THEY ARE WAITING FOR THE GOVERNMENT TO PROVIDE THEM WITH FUNDS.
11) MANY OTHER AUTHORITIES OF THE INSTITUTIONS FEEL THAT THERE IS SOMETHING GOING VERY WRONG IN THE DEPARTMENT REGARDING MONEY.NOW WHEN THE GOVERNMENT HAS CHANGED AND MR AKHILESH YADAV HAS CLEARED THE BUDGET FOR SOCIAL WELFARE MINISTRY THEN WHY NOT THE SCHOLARSHIPS ARE DISPERSED.
12) WHAT IS THE AMOUNT PROVIDED BY THE GOVERNMENT IN PREVIOUS 2 YEARS?
13) WHY NOT GOVERNMENT IS CONCERNED ABOUT THE FUTURE OF MILLION OF STUDENTS WHO ARE HIGHLY DEPENDENT ON THIS SCHEME FOR THEIR STUDIES.
14) WHEN WILL SOCIAL WELFARE MINISTRY DISPERSE THIS AMOUNT? TO HOW MANY COLLEGES THEY HAVE DISPERSED IT? FROM WHERE DO THEY GOT THIS AMOUNT TO BE PAID TO THESE INSTITUIONS?
15) SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 2010-2011 AND 2011-2012 SESSION WILL BE CLEARED WHEN?

what concerns is that its not a normal delay sir…..i have been seeing students in my own college who belong from poor families who are unable to pay their fees and not even gtting loans from bank…….this is what concerns me….
