Allotment of LPG cylinders
As the govt norms say that any individual cant apply for a gas refill before 21 days. Which means that if the entire process is ideal than at the max any individal can have 18 cylinders. According to the recent information provided at the LPG portal, many ministers have availed many more no of cylinders than the permitted level, in the past year. I would like to know, on what basis could they avail so many cylinders without any barrier being raised. Aren’t the government norms applicable on the ministers.

i heard today in news, chairman ONGC has said there is no such norm of 21 days, it depends on the agency.
Still if u want to go with the RTI you can file the above query to PIO of HP,ONGC,BPCL etc. which are involved in providing cylinders. Address of PIO you can find on their website.

Ya but i am leaving IOCL campus. And even there we have norms of 21 days. Could you draft a appropriate RTI to get the maximum information regarding this issue.
