    sir i highly appreciate your reply i am aware that section 230 to 254 defines almost everything about all the offences related to indian coins………

    my motive behind this R.T.I is to know about these questions to further file an P.I.L to make the courts aware of practices in market, metro stations,railway stations ad other places where consumers are daily cheated either they are given toffees instead of desired change or they simply refuse for the ticket or other commodity
    pls help me in drafting this R.T.I

    @Imrf,

    i have a suggestion to make. Before question 3, you can ask WHAT ARE THE CRITERIA/BASIS to decide if there is shortage of Coins in indian market.

    Then you can modify Q.3 as ”Based on such criteria,is there any shortage of coins indian market

    One more question you can ask: What is the basis on which total number of coins to be produced in an year is calculated

    These are just suggestions, its completely upto you to consider it or not. :)

    We do not think that filing this RTI Application will cause victimization of the applicant. We are facing a severe crunch of volunteers and are currently overburdened with other applications of the sort which might cause harassment of the applicant. As it is our duty to cater to their cause first, there might be significant delay in filing this RTI. So, we request you to file it yourself.
