Prayer to take appropriate action to vacant encroachment of communal land like SMASANA & GOCHARA on plot not 2726 & 2624, Khata No. 606 of Kusunnagar Mauza, Bhadrak District, by a Private Engineering College.
Respected Sir,
We the Villagers under Kusunnagar Mauza & the inhabitants of Five different G.Ps were using the above mentioned plots as SMASANA & GOCHARA, long before. The above mentioned plots are also govt. plots, coming under the category of SMASANA & GOCHARA as per the govt. record.
But a private engineering college of Bhadrak, named as Bhadrak Institute of Engineering & Technology (BIET) have forcefully encroached the above mentioned plots and also have constructed buildings over it, by utilizing its heavy political influence.
Despite, our repeated request letters to different govt. authorities, no steps to vacant those plots have taken yet. Often we feel, perhaps the local govt. machineries feel them paralyze, as the engineering college is runed/headed by Mr. Prayas Kanti Samal who is a State level Youth BJD Leader and also the son of Mr. Prafulla Kumar Samal, Presently Cabinet Minister for Co-operative & Culture.
It will be more pertinent to mention that, Mr. Prafulla Samal was the ex-supremo of that college and (now his son is heading the college as chairman) during his tenure the above govt. plots were forcefully encroached and buildings were made.
Therefore, we the poors bringing it to your notice, sir, kindly look into this matter seriously, and do the needful to vacant the above mentioned govt. plots, as we are facing lot of problems even to burying of a dead body and grazing of cattle.
