please provide me with the details of the Notice regarding the fixation0f the hearing dates alongwith my receipt signature .
Dear sir,
My wife has received an Order Sheet (RULE 129 OF THE RECORDS MANUAL,1917),WEST BENGAL FORM NO.270 dated 26/6/2012 ,today on 17/7/2012 regarding commercial taxes(VAT) from ” Govt. of West Bengal( Office of the Joint Commissioner) ,Commercial Taxes,Medinipur Charge,Paschim Medinipur,West Bengal stating ” The Dealer is liable to be assessed U/S 46 of WB VAT Act ’03. As such the Dealer was issued Notice in Form 25 accordingly. however neither the said dealer nor the Dealer’s advocate/A.R appeared on the date fixed for hearing.he also didnot pray for time till date. But now,since the case is on the verge of being barred by limitation of time,I have no option but to assess the Dealer ex parte” and ordering me to pay Output VAT of Rs.120500 and penalty of Rs 52500 .
But in reality I have not received any such Notice regarding any hearing dates or anything relating to the above matter except the Order Sheet recieved today. And we dont have any VAT due on till date.
Thus I request to please provide me with the details of the Notice regarding the fixation0f the hearing dates alongwith my receipt signature .
