Subject: Rampant use of domestic LPG by commercial establishment in Chandigarh and around.

Dear sir,

I wants to know how many surprise raids were conducted on commercial establishments in last 3 years to check the misuse of domestic LPG as well as checking of unspecified LPG bottles ( they use commercial cylinder to fool  inspectors and refill domestic LPG  in these 19 kilo cylinders with small pumps ).

If any raids were conducted then how many were booked under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act and the LPG Control Act 2001 give information.  What is the frequency of checking and how the raids were kept secretive as we know that  your department inspectors are very much know this activity and may inform the  pre planed raids.
