Mess fees Breakup for Shivalik Hostel, IIT Delhi

Intent of filing the RTI: The mess fees for current semester for all residents of Shivalik Hostel has been increased from Rs. 12000 to Rs. 17000. There is no explanation given by either administration or House Working Committee as to why the fees has been increased.

Request- I request to file the RTI with Public Information Officer, IIT Delhi.

Answer my question under RTI Act 2005 regarding increase in Mess fees for Shivalik Hostel, IIT Delhi residents for first semester 2012-2013.

1. What is the breakup of mess fees being charged?

2. Please give the breakup of entire mess expenditure of second semester 2011-2012.

I am hereby attaching postal order of Rs 10.00 as RTI fees.
